Snow!!!

So we had our first real good snow storm on Thursday. The kids thought it was so cool, but today it was a little bit warmer than yesterday so they got to go out and play in it. For two kids who've grown up in California until a few months ago...this was the coolest thing ever. The first 10 mins were just them walking around in the snow looking at their feet sinking and making footprints. Cooper would say "oh" with every footstep. Then I showed them how to make a snowball and throw it. After that they started looking for chunks of snow that they could just pick up and throw (the snow was too hard for them to try and make their own). They thought that the snow breaking up when it hit the ground was just awesome and that's all they did until I made them come in because it was getting late and much colder. One of the pictures is of Jackson trying to make a snow angel. He saw Goofy do it on this Christmas Disney movie we have so he had to try it out himself. The snow was too hard to actually make one, but he thought it was fun.

Classic! I love the expressions on Cooper's face! Don't worry Jackson! Snow really is soft-except in CT when it is really ice masquerading as snow...

Make sure to teach them the importance of snow color...some hues aren't meant to be tasted.
