I know a lot of our family has been asking for pictures of the house we are in the process of buying. So here's a few. I'm proud to announce that Jonathan has finally seen the house with his own eyes. (yes we bought a house without my husband even seeing it, until yesterday) Crazy, yes, but what can you do when your husband can't get off work? You put a lot of faith in your wonderful spouse, that's what. :-) I had taken lots and lots of pictures of the house and drawn out a detailed floorplan (with a ruler, I'm such a perfectionist! Jon was laughing at me when he saw me doing it. It's my dad's fault. Thanks dad!) We had gone over the pictures and I had told him as much as I could about what this and that looked like, and what would need to be done to it etc. I'm also pleased to say that even after seeing the house himself, he still wants to buy it! So that's a good thing. We're both really excited about this, but
it's going to be a lot of work, so ask us in a few months if we still feel the same.
The first five pictures are...
Another picture of the front of the house (to see a better pic of the main part of house see one of the previous posts), pictures of both sides of the house as well as pictures of the backyard (as seen through the dinning room window). And yes that is a cemetery behind the back fence. As our realtor said "Atleast you'll have quiet neighbors".
View standing in the front entry looking into living room with dining room in distance.
Living room
The lovely original 1950's kitchen.
The only bathrm in the house, which is on the second floor just at the top of the stairs. We think that the sink is the original and the inspector thought that the toilet might be too. Yes the wall tiles are pink and black and the floor tiles are peach and black. Maybe the original owner was colorblind?
Closing is set for the 15th of August. Cross your fingers that everything keeps going smoothly!

Lovely! Is that a refrigerator drawer underneath the bathroom sink?
Yes that is a fridge drawer under the sink. It's an original (sink), sooooo it doesn't work all that great. Leaks a little. We got a $450 credit from the seller to replace or repair the sink, toilet and bathtub fixtures. We're hoping to get all that done before we actually move in seeing how it's the only bathrm in the house. Going without a shower and toilet would be soooo not cool.
Look at that yard! I think the boys'll love it. And Jon told me about the colors of the kitchen and the bath! Love that pink! Our tile on the walls and floor in our bathroom are the exact same pattern... but unfortunately yellow instead of your glorious pink! Good luck with all the improvements! I never thought how time consuming it can all be! (and expensive to boot!)
Hmmm...the memories I have so far is us stalking the house, trying to be covert, and then driving in the cemetery behind it trying to check it out without being caught, since they put up that sign the same day...Lovin it!
