Paisley concert

Last night was the long awaited Brad Paisley concert. We've wanted to see him in concert for a long time but just never got around to it. So last night was big stuff for us. Our neighbor Jess came over to watch the kids for us (Thanks so much Jess!!!). Jonathan had been on call Wednesday night and had not been able to get a wink of sleep, so he was a bit tired when he got home and I asked him to look up the directions on how to get there. He did so, but I could tell he was having a hard time staying awake and even nodded off a few times while trying to look it up. So it wasn't much of a surprise when we got up to Hartford and quickly realized that the directions he had couldn't be right. I finally asked, "are you sure you looked up the right place?" That's when we noticed that he had actually looked and gotten directions on how to get to the Administration offices of the music center. Hahahahah!!! So we made a quick call to Dan (thanks so much Dan) and had him look up the actual directions. We eventually made it there and parked in a muddy field (it's been raining here for the past 2 days) and made our way in. There were three others who performed before Brad. The first was Julianne Hough, then Chuck Wicks and last was Jewel. I actually really enjoyed Jewel. Brad was just as entertaining as we had both heard. We really had a lot of fun!!! It was entertaining enough that even almost 48 hours without sleep Jonathan was able to stay awake and totally get into it! The first picture shows where our seats were. We had a pretty good view.
Happy Birthday/Father's day Jonathan! Glad you had so much fun!

I had heard that Jewel went country...is she any good? I've been to a couple country concerts here and there, and they are so much fun! Brad Paisley would be a really good concert too! Luckies!!

I bet the concert was a blast! The country music department definitely is the best at putting on a show! Mindy just said, "Hey, that Julianne Hough is that Mormon girl who was on Dancing with the Stars and has a country music album!" Anywho...
